The coastal village of Easkey is located about 20 miles south of Sligo Town,
just off the main
Sligo/Ballina road. It is close to both Dromore West and the seaside resort of
Enniscrone. Easkey is a fishing and surfing location.
It is known as one of the best surfing spots in Europe.
The village is on the
banks of the (Salmon & Trout) Easkey river.
