Doneal River

Alongside the river is a very old disused mill.
There is also
an old handball alley along the Bridge wall.
Famine Workhouse

About 2 miles south of Dromore
West is a Famine Workhouse.
Prior to it's building, Workhouses in the Sligo Town area were used.
A Famine Commemoration
Visitor Center is located close to the village.
The road leading west from the village goes to the fishing
and surfing
location of Easkey, about 3 miles distance.
